buGis outing with xue

today was fun because i hooked up with my jc bestie, xuefen;)

the most awesome time was spent:
-at the arcade

playing the crazily insane photo y2k game, strangely addictive and SO our kind of thing - brought back LOTS of memories when, after TEACHING at WPSS, we headed straight down to the LOT one e-zone and played, usually, four games non-stop. EVERY saturday. lol. good times. we make a good team.

played my drums after that. xue thought it was hilariouS la.. kept laffing at me whilst i was concentrating. lol. she said i must be quite good cos ppl were looking when i was playing. HAHAHA.

next, bball. she became crazy and we played like FOUR games i tell ya. but we never managed to beat our high score of 180 after the first try lol. tons of fun, this arcade.

u know what.. initially, i felt a bit hesitant to be myself cos xue, u noe, though we really haven't drifted apart, has this whole set of friends n i have my own set of friends. but it was cool cos at the arcade, i realised she really hasnt changed at all:):) still lots of laughs- altho some or most of them were directed at my blur behaviour which, unfortunately, also hasnt changed much all these years. lol.

and good friends really treasure you. they surely have a gift for you even tho your birthday was like - ages ago. :) i love the cat tee. really shows you noe me. thanks babe=D

yay another top to add to my sparse wardrobe! n went crazy shopping today, okay not crazy, but crazy by my standards. bought this cool brown glittery BOHO skirt from arab street. and also this white polo tee from ip zone (surprise, surprise). love my finds! i think the brown skirt looks great with a white tee, and the polo tee is so simple yet ME. :)

haji lane was a disappointment. not brimming with the trinkets and cool finds that i imagined in my head, but with overpriced items and deserted shops. we took a cool picture at some purple shophouse relic tho!:) saw many NTU ppl walking ard aimlessly also laH.

oh yeah the rockery's bubble tea rox! thoroughly enjoyed my yam milk tea with pearls. the milk flavour is the crucial and quality-verifiable ingredient, i reckon.

my gawd the weather was horrid today. hotness to the max.

xue i want the pictures!! xue has a cool camera. convinced her to buy the IP zone hoodie. lol. i am GOOD.

oh, and another thing. bugis village SUCKED. barely saw things that i liked, and it was like: 400 shops selling the SAME THING. hello? originality?

bugis junction wasnt bad though. quite a nice array of stuff.
